One year ago, I shared that I was co-founding a new company called Oboe, with a mission to make humanity smarter. Today I'm very proud and excited to share that Oboe is now available to anyone in the world.
With a single prompt, Oboe magically creates a course to teach you whatever interests you. And when I say course, I don't mean something heavy, intimidating, prescriptive, and standard. That's the old way of learning. Oboe courses are lightweight, fast, beautiful, accessible, approachable, fun, and effective. That's what learning should be.
Oboe is built on the principle that we spend much of our lives learning, even after school ends. We have conversations with large language models and Google search queries and watch videos and read articles and subscribe to newsletters (like this one!) all in the hopes of scratching those curiosity itches and better understanding our world. But despite what the internet has long promised us, it doesn't seem to be making us smarter. Quite the contrary...
My team and I wanted to address that head on. Oboe is the world’s first generalized AI-powered learning platform.
